Seo In-Guk faces death 12 times in Death’s Game trailer

The trailer for Death’s Game begins with Choi Yi-Jae (Seo In-Guk) standing on top of a building, wanting to die a clean death. He is a man, who deals with bad luck and heartbreak every step of the way. Eventually, this leads him to take such an extreme step. However, as soon as he jumps off the building, he doesn’t necessarily die. He ends up in Death’s footstep.

Choi Yi-Jae screams when he discovers that he isn’t really dead. As he tries to make sense of his surroundings, Yi-Jae sees a woman calling out his name. Park So-Dam stands tall as the figure representing Death. She is furious and feels that Yi-Jae insulted her. Death rushes to him, strangling him, and promising to deliver a harsh punishment.

The idea of the drama is to showcase how Death isn’t kind to anyone taking their life for granted. To make him understand the value of life, So-Dam lets him experience Death 12 more times. She makes each time worse than the one before, including accidents, fire, bomb blasts, and many more. Every time, Yi-Jae experiences pain like never before, leading him to scream in anger and frustration as Death laughs.
