Moon in the Day Trailer Focuses on Kim Young-Dae & Pyo Ye-Jin’s Complicated Love Story

Moon in the Day is an upcoming South Korean drama that centers around a tragic love story. Starring Kim Young-Dae and Pyo Ye-Jin, the series’ new trailer has recently been released.

The lead cast plays dual roles as the storyline moves back and forth between the past and present spanning over 1,500 years. Young-Dae plays the roles of Silla Dynasty’s Do Ha and present day’s Han Jun-Oh, while Ye-Jin essays the roles of past life’s Ha Ni-ta and modern day’s Kang Young-Hwa.

The latest teaser of the new K-drama features Jun-Oh struggling to hate and hurt Young-Hwa who killed him in his past life.

Moon in the Day release date, time & cast

Kim Young-Dae’s Moon in the Day will premiere on Friday, November 1, 2023, at 9 p.m. KST on ENA. New episodes will also be available to stream on Netflix and Viki with subtitles.

The main cast members include Kim Young-Dae (Extraordinary You), Pre Ye-Jin (What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim), and Ohn Joo-Won (Beautiful Gong Shim). Apart from them, the remaining actors are Jung Heon (No Matter What), Lee Joon-Hyuk (100 Days My Prince), Jung Woong-In (Prison Playbook), Jung Shin-Hye (I Love You, Loser), and Bae Eun-Young (Racket Boys).

The network recently released a new teaser that begins with the lead pair sharing glances with each other in both past and present worlds. The video further shows Jun-Oh choking Young-Hwa, and soon after Do Ha and  Ni-Ta share a kiss. 

The teaser concludes with Young-Hwa saving Jun-Oh from a car accident, which leaves him in shock. In the background, Kim Young-Dae says, “You and I… It seems like our fates will remain at odds until the end.”

Catch the premiere of Moon in the Day on November 1, 2023, on ENA. New episodes will be released on Fridays and Saturdays on the network, Netflix, and Viki.
