New K-Drama My Demon’s Teaser Trailer Highlights Song Kang, Kim Yoo Jung Chemistry

SBS released the first teaser trailer of the much-awaited K-drama, My Demon, starring Song Kang and Kim Yoo-jung, and it’s every bit as dreamy as it can be! The duo are seen serving cold looks with the potential of it being a classic love story.

My Demon follows the story of Do Do-hee (Kim Yoo-jung), the heiress of Mirae Group, who falls in love with a demon. Meanwhile, Song Kang transforms himself into the most charming yet most dangerous demon Jung Gu-won, who is giving humans a difficult time by holding their souls as collateral. Viewers will have to wait and see how love blossoms between the two.

My Demon teaser documents Song Kang and Kim Yoo Jung’s first encounter

On October 12, SBS gave its avid K-drama viewers a glimpse into Song Kang and Kim Yoo-jung’s journey on My Demon. The lead couple, who play Jung Gu-won (the demon) and Do Do-hee (the human), experience their very first encounter. The rain and umbrella serve as the perfect archetypes of when a K-drama is generally filled with romantic moments.

Jung Gu-won is seen wearing a black suit, which is a classic resemblance to the demon’s character. In the first scene, he lifts up a black umbrella to show his face as the sound of rain is mixed with the background score, introducing a fantasy encounter.

The next scene immediately introduces Do Do-hee into the picture. Gu-won is seen holding the umbrella for Do-hee as the latter looks at him with surprise. The rain continues to pour heavily on the street as well as on Gu-won’s black suit as the two stare deeply at each other and time slows down.

My Demon: Release date, episodes, and cast

Ahead of releasing the teaser trailer, SBS announced that the K-drama is all set to premiere on Friday, November 24, 2023. Song Kang and Kim Yoo-jung are confirmed to play the lead roles and they will be accompanied by Lee Sang-yi and Lee Yoon-ji. However, the rest of the cast is yet to be announced.

The K-drama will air every Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m. KST on SBS. As of now, the number of episodes isn’t confirmed. But if we look at the regular pattern, it can span up to 12 or 16 episodes depending on the storyline.

The first teaser already has fans excited to see what’s more in store. Until then, they will have to wait for the premiere episode on November 24, 2023 on SBS. Further details are awaited.
