Sweet Home 2 Teaser Trailer: Song Kang-Led K-Drama is Unsettling

A new teaser trailer for the much-awaited Sweet Home 2 has finally arrived. Starring Song Kang, the horror-thriller South Korean drama series’ first season was one of the Netflix hits in 2020.

The series centers around a troubled teenager Cha Hyun-su (played by Song Kang) and his apartment neighbors trying to survive a disease that turns humans into savage monsters. As the terror engulfed the city, the Green Room residents were seen fighting and surviving the chaos, however, a few lost their lives in season 1.

The recently released teaser of the second season heightens the tension, giving way to many fan predictions. Also, a new line-up of cast joins the regulars.

Take a look at the Sweet Home 2 teaser below:

Sweet Home 2 Promises Chaos & Bloodshed

The new teaser trailer of Sweet Home Season 2 is 19 seconds long. It doesn’t feature any characters or specific scenes.

The video clip begins with a wall with red posters on its sides and blood stains. As the video progresses, viewers can hear a thumping sound as something or someone strong trying to break the wall from the other side.

It’s unclear whether the survivors are running from a monster or whether the monster wants to break free. The teaser promises chaos and bloodshed.

With Love Alarm’s Song Kang as Cha Hyun-su in the lead, the cast returning to Sweet Home 2 includes Lee Jin-wook as Pyeon Sang-wook, Lee Si-young as Seo Yi-kyung, Go Min-si as Lee Eun-yoo, and Park Gyu-young as Yoon Ji-su. In addition to them, the K-drama series will also welcome new cast members, including Yoo Oh-seon, Oh Jung-se, Kim Mu-yeol, and Jin-young.

Going by the first season’s popularity, the upcoming installment is expected to have a more intense storyline. The highly anticipated season has earlier released movie posters and photos, giving a glimpse of what to expect. One featured Hyun-soo and Sang-wook walking in a never-seen-before building, almost covered in blood.

The season ended with Green Home residents nearly escaping the place searching for a haven. Hyun-su and Sang Wook (infected) headed to a different destination in an armored truck. The series ended on a nerve-wracking cliffhanger.
