Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s upcoming Telugu romantic crime comedy Tillu Square is around the corner. The movie’s promotions have begun in full swing, but the buzz around it is still seemingly mild. However, the makers are now focusing on dropping major details about the movie. Recently, the film was granted its censor certificate. Here are the details.
Is Tillu Square allowed for children to watch?
Mallik Ram, Tillu Square’s director, recently revealed the film’s censor certification. Central Board of Film Certification India granted the movie UA certificate. This means that the movie is unrestricted, but parental discretion advisory is required for children under 12 years of age. Therefore, the movie is appropriate for all audiences.
The film’s UA certificate came after the movie’s romantic scenes became the talking point due to the release of its trailer. The movie’s leading lady, Anupama Parameswaran, recently addressed her scenes with Siddhu and confirmed that she is exploring different characters. According to Jagran, the actress attended the launch event of the movie’s latest track, “Oh My Lily.” During the event, she said, “At the age of 19, I acted in films like A Aa and Premam. Now I am 29, so I have to explore different characters.”
Further addressing the question about her scenes, the Eagle actress said, “Even when I play similar roles, both journalists and the public ask me whether I should stick to the same kind of roles. When I take roles like Lily, you again ask why I decided to do them. What should I do? Just stay at home?”
Tillu Square is the official sequel to DJ Tillu, the 2022 film that came out to be a huge hit. DJ Tillu’s character received a lot of love from the audience, and the same is expected in the upcoming movie. The Telugu movie will hit the theaters on March 29, 2024.
