Shark Tank India Season 3 Episode 37: What Is Golden Feathers?

In the latest episode of Shark Tank India Season 3, a unique textile product pitch named Golden Feathers caught the attention of the sharks. Founders Radhesh Agrahari, Muskan Sainik, and Abhishek Verma presented their innovative business idea to the panel, seeking an investment of $6 thousand (5 Crore) for 5% equity.

Interestingly, Golden Feathers creates textile products from up-cycled chicken waste. The founders explained the entire process, including training rag pickers to collect waste, undergoing 27 natural sanitation processes, and then segregating the waste.

Approximately 93% of the waste is converted into fertilizers, while the feathers are separated. Notably, the founders have secured a patent for their process and have prevented around 190k tonnes of chicken waste from ending up in landfills.

Founders aim to promote a more equitable and sustainable future for all. Their vision is to transform lives and generate livelihoods for tribal women in backward areas. Additionally, their innovative initiative aims to create a profound Green Impact worldwide.

Despite their compelling pitch, the founders could not secure a deal with the sharks after extensive discussions.
