After an eight-year hiatus since the release of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in 2015, the duo is all set to bring something massive and grand to the silver screen.

A source revealed, “Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan are working towards and looking forward to a bigger vision and large-scale project. Sooraj Barjatya is directing a film before he collaborates with the superstar and, as we all know, Salman has a packed schedule for the next 26 months.”
However, the journey to this collaboration hasn’t been without its share of twists. Earlier buzz hinted at Sooraj Barjatya directing Prem Ki Shaadi with Salman, suggesting the return of an iconic character. Unfortunately, plans for the film hit a roadblock due to creative differences between the director and the superstar.
As mentioned earlier, the last collaboration between Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya dates back to 2015 with Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. It was a massive success, especially the poster featuring the iconic curvy couch, which was the talk of the town.
