The anticipation for Animal Park skyrocketed when the team officially announced the sequel. However, it appears fans have to wait as the sequel gears up to go into production. According to the latest reports, reliable sources close to director Sandeep Reddy Vanga shared insights into the sequel’s production timeline.
They revealed, “Animal Park’s basic structure was ready right when Animal [2023] was written. It was meant to be a multi-film outing. The second part will focus on Ranbir’s character Ranvijay and his lookalike. The domestic feud between the protagonist and his wife Geetanjali will be taken forward, as will his relationship with his son.”
Moreover, the execution of the sequel plan aligns with Ranbir Kapoor’s hectic schedule. With commitments to Nitesh Tiwar’s Ramayana and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, Kapoor is expected to work on Animal Park next year. The source added, “The two big-ticket productions will keep him busy till mid-2025. He will focus on Animal Park only next year.”
Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor have also confirmed that Animal Park will be darker and crazier than its predecessor.
