Celebrated filmmaker SS Rajamouli is known for crafting record-breaking cinematic extravaganza. In the past decade, Rajamouli’s films have minted millions at the box office and scripted history. His last release RRR even won the Best Original Song Award at Oscars 2023 for Naatu Naatu. Now, the filmmaker is focusing on his next venture with Telugu star Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled SSMB 29. The latest report has claimed that the director will head to Mumbai amid the film’s pre-production stage.
Mahesh Babu is currently gearing up for his upcoming film Guntur Kaaram. The movie is releasing on January 12. He has collaborated with filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas for the third time in his career. While his fans are waiting for the film’s release, it is expected to shatter box office records. To ensure the same, the actor is currently busy with the promotions of the movie.
SS Rajamouli to head to Mumbai for his movie with Mahesh Babu
As per a report by 123telugu.com, SS Rajamouli will soon head to Mumbai to work on the upcoming movie SSMB 29. The leading portal further alleged that the director would be meeting Hindi actors to cast in the movie. He is reportedly eyeing an International level action drama for which he wants to hire actors from across the globe.
Another earlier report from the same portal claimed that SS Rajamouli has already cast Indonesian actress Chelsea Islan as the leading lady. Moreover, he allegedly screen-tested her a few days ago. However, no official statement has been made yet. The American-born Indonesian actress Chelsea rose to fame with the sitcom Tetangga Masa Gitu. Reportedly, the director has hired a top casting agency in the US for the movie. Through this agency, he allegedly brought Chelsea on board.
Mahesh Babu will be allegedly seen in a beefed-up look for the movie. Also, Rajamouli is joining hands with MM Keeravani again for the film’s music.
