Ahead of an imminent UK home release, SHOCKs here to serve up some exclusive stills and the brand new trailer for director Jesse Thomas Cook and scribe Tony Burgess supernatural shocker, THE HEXECUTIONERS.
Cleverly combining sanctioned euthanasia with the spiteful spirits of a Death Cult that once inhabited the macabre mansion of the hideously disfigured plutocrat, Milos Somborac (a heavily incognito Tony Burgess), this is hands down one of the freshest and most aesthetically impressive supernatural tales to have hit the festival circuit this year and last.
Those familiar with Burgess previous projects will be happy to hear that THE HEXECUTIONERS comes packing metaphors aplenty, this time sliding money-grabbing monopolisers under the microscope as the fat cats take advantage of peoples willingness to fork out alarming amounts of money, not only to be put out of their misery, but also to bid their last farewells in sick and twisted tailor-made fashion.
Starring Liv Collins, Sarah Power, Tim Burd, Barry Flatman, Walter Borden, Boyd Banks and Ari Millen, THE HEXECUTIONERS will be available from May 30 in the UK via Studio Canal whilst news of a Canadian release date is expected to roll out any time soon via Anchor Bay Entertainment.
