Pulp fiction enthusiast Sarah Berry unearths a pack of dirty vintage paperback covers.
I’ve always had a love for the old and the forgotten.
These yellowed pages, too often tossed aside and sold en masse at estate sales, make adults blush and balk at the camp and bawdy stuff their parents used to read.
These gems caught eyes and quickened heartbeats generations ago, and there’s just nothing quite like them. We’ve all heard the old adage on judging books by their covers, but these are what have always drawn me in. We’ve all felt that provocative pull that only bare skin and alluring gazes can offer.
Yes, the prose may certainly leave you hungry, but the brazen and shameless depictions of seduction cannot be denied. Pulp from the 1940’s and 50’s invited me in, but it was the vintage erotic paperbacks up through the 1970’s that kept me wanting more. There you’ve got a garden of earthly (and sometimes unearthly) delights laid completely bare – a real feast for the eyes. 4
Here you’ll see the absolute best of the worst. These choicest little bits of sleaze show sex mad nymphos made to toss their inhibitions to the wind…right along with their clothes!
