The Ed Pope-penned film follows a group of kidnapped women held captive in a kind of farm that aims to drain milk from their bodies. The allegorical horror film is ripe with criticisms of our senseless slaughter of animals for food and equates feminist struggle with the plight of these endlessly brutalized beasts.
Now, Light has put the festival favorite online, just in time for the start of February’s Women in Horror Month.
