Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno is finally set for release. The long-awaited cannibal film is a colorful, vivid descent into the jungle; a gory and more darkly humorous than its influences and predecessors. Blumhouse is set to distribute this September. Get a good look.
This is largely the same theatrical trailer that premiered last year, when The Green Inferno was intended to hit in fall 2014. It’s a fun and none-too-revealing preview of the film, thankfully saving its terrific plane crash and more for the big screen. In the film, as tends to happen in Roth’s work, the youth of America get a rough taste of the outside world. This gang has more noble intentions, but that won’t save them.
BH Tilt releases September 25th.
