The first real Fear the Walking Dead footage came with a glimpse of some Prefontaine moves. In an expanded promo, there’s even more track spirit. It’s up to us to guess what Nick’s running from.
One of the interesting things about Fear the Walking Dead will be showrunner David Erickson and executive producers Gale Anne Hurd, Robert Kirkman and Greg Nicotero’s attempts to make the initial outbreak a frightening scenario. Five seasons into The Walking Dead, we know exactly what the zombies entail and how humanity (at least in the south) devolves. Will the chaos and uncertainty of the apocalypse’s early days be enough. This dude makes a great go at a frightened run.
Fear the Walking Dead premieres this August. Expect much more out of San Diego Comic-Con and the coming weeks.
