Photographer Tyler Shields makes a hyper stylish debut with Abigail Breslin-starrer Final Girl, a long-awaited fright film now set for August release from Cinedigm and Nasser Entertainment.
Fangoria reports Cinedigm and Nasser will release Final Girl August 14th to VOD, Digital HD and theatrical release in New York, LA, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Houston and Phoenix.
In the film, Breslin plays loner Veronica a teen at a new school. Shes shy and vulnerable the perfect target for a group of teenage boys who lure girls into the woods to hunt and kill them for sport. Its only after they get her alone that she turns the tables on them, escaping and revealing shes armed and knows how to defend herself. Little do they know, Veronica is an assassin-in-training, and shes chosen killing these boys as her final test. When the dust clears, Veronica will find out if she can be the final girl these boys ever have a chance to hurt.
Wes Bentley co-stars in the film. Breslin can currently be seen in zombie drama Maggie and stars in the upcoming FOX series Scream Queens. Find a trailer for Final Girl, below.
