Theres a cheekiness to the often terrifically macabre Hannibal. Sly might be the word, and while I wouldnt go so far with this new promo, its a fun celebration of both Hannibal and Bedelias relationship, and a nice reminder of the series highly anticipated return.
With a devious final moment of Season Two, it was clear Gillian Andersons Bedelia Du Maurier (cheekiness) would feature far more prominently in Hannibals Season Three. Anderson being a genre goddess and Bedelia being a wonderful counterpart to Mads Mikkelsens increasingly definitive take on the killer, this is great news.
