Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, the scripters behind Saw IV-VII, the Feast series and The Collector and The Collection, will pen a new Halloween, finally following Rob Zombie’s films.
THR reported the news of the film, to be produced by Malek Akkad and Matt Stein. No director is attached or announced, and it seems there’s little sense what to call the film, the site’s sources opting for “recalibration.” Said term is funny, as it’s currently the most absurd extension of ‘reboot,’ and really, all audiences would likely need to know is it’s another Halloween film with Michael Myers on the prowl.
