Shock Till You Drop has received a first look at the independent horror film Made Me Do It. Below, check out a teaser trailer! In addition to the new promo, you can watch two film clips. When a masked killer attacks college student Ali Hooper and her little brother, they must uncover his painful past if they hope to survive the night.
“The film is in the same vein as the original Halloween with a mix of Psycho and Natural Born Killers,” says director Benjamin Koppin. Filming took place in Los Angeles for six days with a few extra days allotted for additional shooting. “A lot of people look back on the original Halloween and remember the boobs and the blood – which there isn’t much of. What I really enjoyed about that film and the sequel was the creepy mythology around Michael Myers that made him the embodiment of true evil. This is what turned Michael from your run of the mill killer into a horror icon. So with Made Me Do It we wanted to explore the mythology behind our killer and give some back story as to how he became who he is today.”
Koppin tells us the film will finish up post-production this year and hit the festival circuit in 2015.
