One horror film is moving out of a busy period for the genre in 2015. Sony is pushing Kitchen Sink out of its January 9, 2015 slot to September 4, 2015. This moves the film out of a weekend in which it was going to compete with Fox’s Victor Frankenstein and into pretty free weekend. (I’m sure that month will fill up as we get closer to that date.)
Kitchen Sink is directed by Robbie Pickering and is based on a Black List script by Oren Uziel.
The story concerns a group of teens to aligned themselves with vampires and zombies to take on an alien menace. So, you get the reason why it’s now called “kitchen sink.”
Vanessa Hudgens, Mackenzie Davis, Nicholas Braun, Chris Zylka and Josh Fadem star.
