Jessabelle Gets Pushed Back & Altered Release Strategy

Lionsgate is making some changes to Jessabelle‘s release plan. Instead of an August 29th wide release, the supernatural thriller is being pushed back to November 7th. At that time, it will enter select theaters and VOD.

Directed by Kevin Greutert, the film stars Sarah Snook, Mark Webber, David Andrews, Joelle Carter, Ana de la Reguera, Larisa Oleynik, Chris Ellis, Fran Bennett and Amber Stevens.

From the mastermind producer of Paranormal Activity and Insidious comes the ghostly tale of Jessabelle. Returning to her childhood home in Louisiana to recuperate from a horrific car accident, Jessabelle (Snook) comes face to face with a long-tormented spirit that has been seeking her return — and has no intention of letting her escape.
