No Heroes – The Purge: Anarchy Gets a Second Full Trailer

The Purge: Anarchy version 2"We can't have heroes…" The Purge: Anarchy has revealed a second full-length trailer following the release of a string of TV spots and the previously release first trailer. This one maintains its formula and the narrative beats seen in the other previews (with Frank Grillo depicted in some "out for vengeance" subplot), but it has some more footage and a particularly cool speech from someone about how there are "no heroes" during the night of "The Purge."

I love the world they created with this film. It's wicked and subversive and I'm hoping the film delivers. It opens in theaters July 18th and we'll have some interviews to share leading up to the release.

The New Founders of America invite you to celebrate your annual right to Purge in "The Purge: Anarchy." Returning alongside writer/director/producer James DeMonaco to produce the sequel to 2013's sleeper hit are Blumhouse Productions' Jason Blum ("Paranormal Activity" and "Insidious" series), alongside Sébastien K. Lemercier ("Assault on Precinct 13," "Four Lovers") and Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay ("Pain & Gain," "Transformers" franchise), Brad Fuller ("The Amityville Horror," "A Nightmare on Elm Street") and Andrew Form ("The Texas Chainsaw Massacre," "Friday the 13th").
