What we do know is Leigh Whannell is making his feature directorial debut. Scott is appearing in another Blumhouse production: Jem and the Holograms. She also starred in No Strings Attached.
The new film is expected to be in theaters April 3, 2015 so shooting begins soon!
Whannell has stated in previous interviews that the threequel will be more in line with the first Insidious, likely introducing us to a new set of characters and new supernatural menace.
