In last night’s episode of Pretty Little Liars, on ABC Family, two characters are watching TV when a commercial for Insidious Chapter 2 comes on and…they begin to discuss film!
Lucy Hale’s Aria reveals she saw the first James Wan-directed film twice and, in regards to the sequel, “This one looks even more terrifying.” So, forget the usual commercials – advertising is being worked into the actual dialogue of the shows you like to watch!
Surely because Aria thinks it looks terrifying, Pretty Little Liars‘ viewers will race out to see the movie now, too, right? Very, very strange promotion.
