Writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Glee, writer of The Stand comics) is currently working on “Afterlife with Archie,” a series that sees the Riverdale characters taking on the undead.
He has been brought on to write the screenplay with Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore signed on to helm the film.
Archie has previously been adapted into a live action TV movie “Archie: To Riverdale and Back Again” in 1990, without zombies.
