Paramount unveiled the first official teaser poster for World War Z, opening June 21st, today and it certainly makes an impact. Look beyond the “how did that bus get there?” and marvel at the swarm of human bodies – the most powerful visual we’ve seen in the teaser trailer to date – rising up to bring down a helicopter. Cool stuff.
The poster premiere comes on the day that ShockTillYouDrop.com is getting a first-look at lengthy footage from the film and we’ve spoken to director Marc Forster recently, so stay tuned for a full write-up on that experience. A trailer, meanwhile, is due tonight at 12:01am PST on Apple.
The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop a pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.
