All the Boys Love Mandy Lane to Get U.S. Release…for Real

This Radius-TWC partnership appears to be great for films that have been languishing on Bob and Harvey Weinstein’s shelf.  The union recently released 6 Souls, the Julianne Moore-starring thriller, a film that had been awaiting release for some time as well.

Starring Amber Heard, All the Boys Love Mandy Lane made a splash on the festival scene seven years ago before wading through a thick sob story of distribution woes.  The film has been released overseas, but never saw a debut here in the States.

In the film, a group of high schoolers invite Mandy Lane (Heard), a good girl who became quite hot over the summer, to a weekend party on a secluded ranch. While the festivities rage on, the number of revelers begins to drop quite mysteriously.

“I am thrilled that MANDY LANE has been rescued and is back where it belongs with Harvey and Bob,” said Levine. “Hard to believe it’s been seven years, but then again I’ve always perceived myself as a misunderstood artist who was light years ahead of his time, so I am thrilled the world has finally caught up. Seriously, I am incredibly proud of the film and of the hard work that my cast and collaborators put into it, and I am so happy the world will finally get a chance to see it.”
