Potential Pontypool Sequel Gets a Terrific Teaser Poster

In the midst of the Fantasia Film Festival, an incredibly cool piece of teaser art has surfaced for Pontypool Changes, the proposed sequel to Bruce McDonald’s 2009 film Pontypool.

The original film is based on Tony Burgess’ novel Pontypool Changes Everything and a sequel has been discussed since ’09.

For a spell, it looked like the follow-up was not going to happen due to some shaky business dealings (we spoke to one producer some time ago who was uncertain if it would become a reality), hopefully it has overcome that and can finally move forward.

Head inside for a larger look at the poster.

Pontypool is named after the small town in which it’s set, features veteran character actor Stephen McHattie, as a cantankerous radio DJ trapped within the station’s walls as a deadly virus consumes the town, turning its citizens into cannibalistic zombie-like creatures.
