The big news last week? Shout! Factory’s new division – Scream Factory – is putting out a terrific wave of films – some for the first time – on Blu-ray. One of those titles includes Halloween II which, we all know, was already released on Blu-ray. But Scream Factory’s going to do it right and here’s why…
Scream Factory’s Facebook page revealed the following:
BREAKING NEWS!! Both the DVD and Blu-ray skus of HALLOWEEN II will now have a 2nd DVD disc that includes the rare Television version of H2 that many fans have been asking for. This version is quite the trip if you’ve never seen it as it includes different edits of the film and original, deleted footage not seen in the theatrical version.
Awesome, right? I have no doubt in my mind that this company will be offering the same care to the other titles they have on the way. Can’t wait to see what surprises they have in store for us.
