Now a documentary – entitled Despite the Gods – is on the way, chronicling the debacle that is the making of the film. A trailer was released and I want to see this doc, like, now. The preview reflects what we suspected: An unhappy director, a disorganized productio and indecisiveness over the tone of the story.
The documentary is playing at a Canadian film festival called Hot Docs. Hopefully, we’ll all be able to see it soon.
