New Trailer for Darren Bousman’s The Devil’s Carnival


ShockTillYouDrop’s sister site CraveOnline has premiered the new trailer for Darren Lynn Bousman’s The Devil’s Carnival, the “Saw” director’s thematic follow-up to his cult classic musical horror movie Repo! The Genetic Opera, once again teaming with Terrance Zdunich.

Directed by Bousman, the film features twelve original songs by Zdunich and Saar Hendelman and stars Emilie Autumn, Dayton Callie, M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan of Slipknot, Briana Evigan, Sean Patrick Flanery, Maggie “Captain Maggot” Lally and The Blessed Contessa of The Bloody Crumpets, J. LaRose, Jessica Lowndes, Mighty Mike of Mini Kiss, internet star Hannah Minx, Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch, and returning Repo! cast members Bill Moseley, Ogre of Skinny Puppy, Marc Senter, Paul Sorvino, Alexa Vega and Terrance Zdunich himself.

The official plot summary from the press release is as follows:

In The Devil’s Carnival, sinners are invited to a theme park where they endure the repetition of their transgressions.  What chances do a conniving kleptomaniac, a gullible teenager, and an obsessed father stand when facing their own moral failings?  Lucifer and his colorful cast of singing carnies invite you to grab a ticket to The Devil’s Carnival to find out!

Bousman and his crew will be taking the movie on the road with a tour that starts on April 5 in Hollywood and travels across the country through May with a number of different ticket options that include meet and greet with Bousman and some of his cast.

The ticket packages available are as follows:

1. Sinners – $20.00 (gets you a ticket to the show)

2. Carnies – $30.00 (ticket to the show, and a pre-signed poster)

3. Ringmasters – $40.00 (VIP Experience: ticket to the show, pre-signed poster, and a meet & greet)
