Last month, Chiller premiered the first of its original productions, Remains, a zombie film based on the graphic novel by Steve Niles. The second Chiller outing, Ghoul, an andaptation of a Brian Keene novel, is now ready for the spotlight and a premiere date has been set. But not on television.
Slamdance, the film festival that operates just up the street from the Sundance Film Festival, will hold a one-time screening of Ghoul on Sunday, January 22 at 4pm (event page here). A television debut date has not been set at the time of this writing.
Directed by Gregory Wilson, the film stars Nolan Gould, Mattie Liptak, Zach Rand, Andrea Frankle, Crystal Rivers, Brett Lapeyrouse and Tim Bell and centers on a group of friends who risk their lives to stop who, or what, is behind a rash of disappearances in their town.
