There is an undeniable connection to Prometheus (opening June 8) and Scott’s previous sci-fi/horror masterpiece Alien. There are just too many nods – from what appears to be an “acid for blood” attack, to the Space Jockey’s control chair (sans the Space Jockey himself), to the ship. Look incredible.
Starring Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender, the film follows a team of explorers who discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
