Foundry Announces Slate of Comics to Adapt for Film

The publisher is a new kid on the block that is out to turn all of its books into films.  Head inside and see what else Foundry has on tap.

According to Variety, Foundry – the partnership of producer Lloyd Levin (Watchmen, Hellboy) – and Stranger Comics.

On Foundry’s slate: The aforementioned “Quincey Morris” (written by Shadow of the Vampire‘s Steve Katz); “Offworld,” described as an intergalactic safari (by Orphan‘s David Johnson; and “Escape Velocity” (by Eureka‘s Andrew Cosby).  Those are just some of the more genre-geared titles from their batch that seem Shock Till You Drop-worthy.

“Offworld” seems to be the farthest along in terms of its transition from comic book to film.  Julian Gilbey, the director of A Lonely Place to Die, was attached, back in September, to direct.
