Hours, I mean hours, were spent in my youth playing Rampage. Yes, that video game about humans who are transformed into a giant ape, a giant lizard and a werewolf of some sort and then compete with one another in an effort to knock down buildings and gobble up civilians.
Now Hollywood wants to make a movie out of it.
As if the forthcoming Pacific Rim and Godzilla were not enough, New Line is spearheading a Rampage feature film with producer John Rickard (Final Destination, Horrible Bosses). Currently, the project is only out to writers, so it’s still early in development.
