Exclusive: Underworld Awakening Theater Banner

Don’t worry, Beckinsale’s got you covered

Before we start, I just want to say that my favorite part of the trailer for Underworld Awakening is: “Kate Beckinsale in 3D!” I don’t think we’ve seen an actor/actress touted in such a fashion during this spate of 3D films, have we? Anyway, it made me smile because you know, somewhere out there, someone is downright giddy saying, “Finally! Kate in 3D!”

Moving on, we landed an exclusive first look at a banner for the film which you’ll soon be finding in a theater lobby near you.

Upon first glance, the thing that struck me is that there is more color in this than the series’ signature “blue” look. Oh, there is blue. But it’s sprinkled with orange embers of a nearby explosion/blaze.
