New York’s in trouble again
Ian Fried has sold Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures on his story Spectral.
The Hollywood Reporter says it’s a “dark” and “gritty” take on the Ghostbusters formula.
In Spectral, a special ops force – trained in hunting the supernatural – go up against ghosts that have taken over Manhattan.
Fried got some Hollywood attention over the summer when his Florence Nightingale and Jack the Ripper script, Gaslight, made the rounds.
