Director leaves reboot?
Twitch Film reports Juan Carlos Fresnadillo has bowed out of The Crow reboot, following in previously attached director Stephen Norrington’s footsteps.
The Spanish filmmaker behind 28 Weeks Later and the upcoming Intruders filled the Crow‘s director’s chair after Norrington left over creative disputes. Twitch doesn’t say why Fresnadillo’s gone, but I think it was a telling sign that something was up when he boarded Summit’s Highlander remake.
There are now talks that F. Javier Gutierrez (Before the Fall) may be his replacement, but take that as a rumor for now.
