Playing in Austin this month
Shock Till You Drop is heading to Fantastic Fest! Yes, it’ll be my first time at the week-long event in Austin, Texas and, needless to say, I’m excited. We’ll be previewing FF leading up to its kick-off September 22 and, once we’re down there, I’ll be hitting you with reviews, interviews and we’ll have a special Shock Waves podcast episode featuring a few guests.
As part of our preview, here’s a look at Penumbra, from Spanish director Adrian Garcia Bogliano (Cold Sweat). In it, Cristina Brondo plays Marga, a young woman who inherits an apartment in Argentina. She arrives in town to find a potential tenant, but her realtor is not all that he seems and there’s something sinister afoot.
