Shock weighs in on an early screening
Last night, Shock Till You Drop was fortunate enough to sit in on an early screening of Attack the Block.
We’ll tell ya: The film is the real deal. An impressive feature debut from writer-director Joe Cornish about a group of south London kids who have to defend their tenement from nasty, otherworldly creatures. It’s hilarious, clever and it’s got a lot of heart…and the kids are a memorable lot. The Goonies, but with a tougher vibe.
That said, a new red band trailer is here. It’s a bit spoiler-y.
Screen Gems opens the film in the U.S. on July 29.
