A spin on Little Red Riding Hood
Today must be the day when films shelved for years finally get a release date.
Following on this film’s heels, Anchor Bay Entertainment announced it will distribute Medium Raw on DVD August 16.
Released as Medium Raw: Night of the Wolf, the film was written and directed by Andrew Cymek. He also stars alongside John Rhys-Davies, Mercedes McNab and Stephen McHattie.
Synopsis: Even though Johnny is now an officer of the law, heâs still plagued by nightmares of his sisterâs death and the serial killer thatâs still out there. When a new murder scene features the same cryptic question, Johnny and his partner (Davies) track down leads until he finally captures Harold Grierson aka âthe Wolf.â But when a power outage at Parkerâs Asylum for the Criminally Insane, where Harold is interred, and Johnnyâs girlfriend Jamie (Brigitte Kingsley) works as a psychiatrist, unleashes all the inmates, Johnny, Jamie along with a handful of civilians become players in a night of survival against the worldâs most terrifying inmatesâ¦the Night of the Wolf.
