Director briefly talks tone of film
From the sound of it, Rob Zombie actually won’t start shooting Lords of Salem until late summer.
The writer-director is going on tour very soon and when he returns, filming will commence on his latest feature. He told Billboard, in a recent interview, that he’s expecting the production schedule to bleed into 2012, which obviously means we won’t be seeing the Lords reign on screen this year.
He also touched on the tone of the film: “I’m very excited about this one. It’s a very different film. It’s more of a slow, psychological burn as opposed to a physically violent kind of movie.”
