This one’s going to get messy
Shock Till You Drop has learned more about David Arquette’s next directorial effort, Glutton. Yesterday, we were granted a small tease, but today, our man Alan Jones writes in to give us the full scoop on this thriller.
We’re told the film concerns an obese man who weighs 1200 pounds. He’s restricted to his bed, unable to move. Jones writes, “Then a stranger breaks in and says he’s got his sister hostage in an apartment across the street. She can only be saved if he gets up and goes to her. The stranger is also a surgeon and proposes cutting chunks off his flesh off so he can move.”
Four “fat suits” are being created for the lucky actor starring in the film and we’re promised the third act is a “bloodbath.”
Arquette is working from a script by Kenny Yakkel this time. The Scream vet’s last effort in the director’s seat was The Tripper.
