Ghost Face is EW’s cover boy
And by “speaks out,” we don’t mean trivial little sound bites that equate to nothing.
Breaking away from his hectic schedule to speak to Entertainment Weekly – who have made Scream 4 their cover story this week – Williamson had this to say about his time on the production. Here’s an excerpt from the EW piece.
“Everyone was second-guessing everything, because everyone wanted it to be so perfect,” Williamson recalls. His arguments with Weinstein intensified over the months and ultimately came to a head. “Oh, I got in a big fight with Bob,” says Williamson. “We got into a massive fight creatively, and we hugged it out and then we moved on.”
When he moved on, Ehren Kruger was brought in to do a bit of re-writing. Craven did some touch-ups as well. The director goes into further details in an exclusive chat with Shock right here.
Look for EW on stands tomorrow.
