In the Hollywood trenches as an actor, writer and director
This month, I had the great pleasure of venturing up to Tom Holland’s house for a lengthy discussion about his career. Holland, as I’ve voiced time and time again here on Shock, is the writer-director of my favorite horror film Fright Night. So, over the next few episodes, Choice Cuts will be profiling the man, from his time acting (which has come full circle in which he broke his “acting retirement” with Hatchet II) to his career as a writer and director who has given us Psycho II, The Beast Within, Child’s Play and more.
The man has a wealth of stories to tell (seriously, he’s mingled with some of cinema’s biggest names), he’s got much to say about the business and he’s faced a lot of challenges.
