Joining director Jaume Collet-Serra in a trip of The River is actor Joe Anderson.
The television series will air on ABC and is written by Oren Peli (Paranormal Activity).
Utilizing the “found footage” angle, the series will tell of a family going down the Amazon river in search of the father.
Anderson previous starred in The Ruins (you remember the amputated leg gag, right?) as well as last year’s The Crazies. He was Timothy Olyphant’s deputy.
