When The Abandoned arrived on U.S. shores through After Dark Films, things were looking good for filmmaker Nacho Cerda. He had a promising vision and I always wondered where he ran off to.
Well, Variety says he’ll soon direct I Am Legion – a script written by Hardware and Dust Devil‘s Richard Stanley. The story is based on an existing comic book of the same name.
If the film gets rolling, expect a tale set during World War II that follows a group of commandos on a mission to prevent the Nazis from using a vampire (a 12-year-old girl) to create an army of the undead.
Cerda also directed the ballsy short films Genesis and Aftermath.
