A re-telling of Stoker’s tale
Over the weekend, news broke that Jaume Collet-Serra was going to direct a Dracula project for Leonard DiCaprio’s Appian Way.
Details were thin and there wasn’t even a title, although it was revealed Lee Shipman and Brian McGreevy were scripting.
Today, Deadline filled in the blanks.
The project is called Harker and Warner Bros. is closing in as the distributor. The story finds a young Jonathan Harker working for Scotland Yard who is tracking Dracula.
McGreevy also penned “Hemlock Grove,” a novel that finds a vampire, a werewolf and the Frankenstein monster attending a Pennsylvania school.
Serra previously directed House of Wax and Unknown, which is hitting theaters soon.
