Are Wise and Phillips still attached?
Someone’s been doing some talking around town about Rosewood Lane.
Sources tell us, and apparently a few other outlets, that Victor Salva is getting ready to shoot Rosewood Lane, a film we first reported on in 2009, although Salva’s history with the project reaches further back than that.
Salva will reunite with his director of photography on the Jeepers Creepers films, Don FauntLeRoy, and casting has begun. In our initial announcement for the project, it was revealed Gina Phillips and Ray Wise were locked to star. We’re not certain if that still holds.
If Phillips is indeed still involved, she lead the cast as a radio talk show therapist who moves back to her childhood home when her alcoholic father dies. But upon arrival, she discovers the neighborhood is terrified of the local paperboy.
She thinks this is ridiculous, until she encounters the boy himself, and learns the hard way, that he is a cunning and dangerous sociopath, who may have killed her father and even others. When he starts to exhibit abnormal abilities, she starts to doubt her own sanity and the boy begins waging a war of terror on her.
