Two other actresses rumored as well
Christian Bale is now a rumored front runner for Ron Howard’s Dark Tower adaptation.
So says the New York Post, so you have to take into account their sources and its legitimacy. Lately, a lot of “front runner” stories have just been a load of b.s.
The Post adds that Jennifer Carpenter (Dexter) and Ghita Tazi are vying for the role of Susanna (huh?!). Bale, of course, is being eyed for Roland Deschain.
For any actor circling the project, they have to keep in mind that they’re committing to Howard’s hefty endeavor which includes three films and two television projects – the only way to bring Stephen King’s entire series to life.
Bale is apparently up against Viggo Mortensen and Javier Bardem, two actors Howard had said he’d like to see play Roland.
