Teaming with Vincenzo Natali for one film
In addition to the previously-announced Nothing to Fear and an adaptation of Steve Niles’ Wake the Dead, Slash’s production outfit, Slasher Films, will shepherd Theorom and The Other Kingdom.
Vincenzo Natali – of Cube – is poised to direct Theorom, which finds him returning to the horrors he explored in Splice when a college professor unleashes a genetic evil after unlocking an ancient relic.
Philip Eisner, meanwhile, penned The Other Kingdom and will make his directorial debut. Eisner also wrote Event Horizon. This time, he has scripted a tale about a hospital staff who has to defend itself from people infected with an alien pathogen.
All Slasher Films will be co-produced by Scout Films.
